Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager specializing in crisis management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background and experience in technical project management. This role involves standing up a PMO under the Tax Modernization Initiative, which lives under FinTech. The candidate will report to the two PMs overseeing the total initiative.

Responsibilities:

Crisis Management: Address and resolve issues related to project delays and budget overruns.
Program Management: Oversee the Tax Modernization Initiative, ensuring high communication and transparency.
Detail-Oriented: Dive into the details to find solutions and ensure project success.
Enterprise Tech Projects: Manage enterprise-level tech projects or implementations, particularly in retail systems and item catalogs.
Engineering Resources: Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, ETL specialists, infrastructure teams, and data pipelining experts.
Stakeholder Communication: Handle strong stakeholder communication and management, balancing competing pressures.
Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile practices (Kanban or Scrum) to manage projects effectively.
Project Planning: Use WRIKE for program planning and SDLC management.
Flexibility: Adapt to building various models, each with unique requirements.
Tax Technologies: Exposure to and understanding of tax technologies is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Project/Program Manager: Proven experience in managing technical projects or programs.
Enterprise Tech Projects: Experience with enterprise-level tech projects or implementations.
Engineering Resources: Experience dealing with AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing stakeholder relationships.
Agile Practices: Experience working in sprint cycles (Kanban or Scrum).
WRIKE: Proficiency in using WRIKE for program planning.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

AI/ML: Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
Retail Systems: Experience with item catalog or retail systems.
Infrastructure Engineering: Exposure to infrastructure engineering, particularly data pipelining.
Tax Technologies: Knowledge of tax technologies.
