We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer with strong experience in automation testing for REST APIs and web applications using Selenium. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our software products through robust automated testing frameworks and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST APIs and web applications using Selenium
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Maintain and enhance test frameworks to support evolving product features
Document test cases, procedures, and results clearly and accurately
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
Strong understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
