Job Description

A large retail client is seeking an Event & Production Manager to own the end-to-end process for in-store activations, celebrity/influencer engagements, and event approvals across retail properties. This role ensures flawless execution, compliance, and brand alignment while driving process improvements and strategic storytelling for leadership.
The responsibilities of this position include managing approval workflows for over 2,000 events annually (pop-ups, food trucks, concerts, celebrity appearances), coordinating approximately 100 in-store filming and production shoots per year, and acting as the on-site lead for high-profile activations. The Event & Production Manager will own the event approval process, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and develop/enforce standard operating procedures for rogue activities and vendor coordination. Additional duties include partnering with cross-functional teams (agency, influencer, supplier, operations) to streamline workflows, building monthly recap decks to highlight events and insights, providing leadership with data-driven reports, and recommending strategies for leveraging celebrity/influencer engagements for brand impact. The ideal candidate will also liaise with external partners and internal teams to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
