Java Developer (Azure & Event Streaming) - INTL India

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team and help build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and event-driven architectures using Kafka, along with hands-on experience working with Cosmos DB and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
Build and manage event-driven systems using Apache Kafka
Integrate and manage data using Azure Cosmos DB
Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Monitor and optimize application performance in production environments

Strong programming experience in Java and J2EE
Proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming
Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or other distributed NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Functions, Event Hubs, etc.)
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous processing
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
