Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CI/CD Infrastructure as Code Engineer to design, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure using modern DevOps practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement Azure infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure repeatable, version-controlled deployments.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect and manage scalable, secure, and resilient Azure environments, including networking, compute, storage, and identity services.
Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance; continuously optimize infrastructure post-deployment.
Team Enablement: Collaborate with development and operations teams to promote DevOps best practices and provide training on infrastructure automation and CI/CD workflows.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Design and deploy infrastructure components using Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Automate routine tasks and system configurations using Python and shell scripting.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and modernization efforts.
Document infrastructure designs, automation workflows, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration (very important).
Experience managing infrastructure lifecycle using version control (e.g., Git).
CI/CD & DevOps Tools:
Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Familiarity with pipeline design, artifact management, and deployment strategies.
Cloud Platforms:
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Networks, Storage, AKS, Azure Functions).
Experience with cloud migration and post-migration optimization.
Scripting & Automation:
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation tasks.
Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
Monitoring & Logging:
Knowledge of tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Ability to set up alerting, dashboards, and performance tuning.
Security & Compliance:
Understanding of IAM, RBAC, network security, and encryption in cloud environments.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Experience provisioning for SAP systems
