A large global retailor is looking to hire a Backend Java Developer to assist them with their ongoing initiatives. Candidates will be helping specifically with the replenishment team across multiple groups such as Purchase Order, Enterprise Inventory, Order Well, and GRS (Global Replenishing). He/she will be working on green fields work to transition mainframe code to cloud. 100% of your day will be spent coding new cloud enablement applications from scratch as well as working on existing cloud enablement applications to help move from the legacy code to cloud. Candidates will be helping to add new features to the cloud, modifying/enhancing existing features.

5+ years experience of Java based Backend Development
Java 8/11 and Springboot/Spring MBC to build Rest API's & create microservices from scratch
Experience with Cassandra, Preffered or any other NoSQL database
Kafka, preferred, or Active MQ for messaging
GCP or Azure Cloud experience
Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, preferred, or other container orchestration technology
