Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an Automotive Test Technician to work five days onsite with the Electric Vehicles team at one of our largest automotive clients. This role includes monthly travel to the headquarters, with extended travel expected during the winter months. The technician will be involved in testing a new fleet of vehicles by performing driving maneuvers to evaluate new software features. They will conduct analysis using structured test plans and diagnose issues using CAN tools (Controller Area Network) and OBD (On-Board Diagnostics). Additionally, they will document bugs in Jira and provide feedback to the engineering team. This role requires reviewing data and diagnostics to ensure accurate analysis of the functionality of new software features. Required Skills & Experience
1-2 yrs experience Vehicle Testing
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Familiarity with automotive systems and basic diagnostics (OBD, CAN tools, etc.)
Ability to travel 1x per month and additional travel in the winter
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Accredited proving ground driver training
Associate degree or certificate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
