Insight Global is seeking a Wind Turbine Technicians to join a large utilities client in Maljamar, NM! The Wind Technician will not be required to travel and instead will support one specific Wind Farm in Maljamar. They will inspect, review manuals and schematic diagrams to determine the tasks, tools, equipment and parts needed for various activities on site. They will work with other Technicians on site to ensure that all equipment and machinery are running properly while adhering to strict safety regulations. Around 85% of the work they will do will be in or around the substation.

Physical stamina: Wind technicians must be able to climb on ladder systems to height of turbine nacelle, often with tools and equipment. Some tower ladders may be 280 feet high or taller. Therefore, wind technicians should be able to work for long periods without tiring easily.
Physical strength: Wind technicians must lift and climb with heavy equipment, parts and tools. Some weigh in excess of 45 pounds.
Required to work safely at heights up to and exceeding two hundred eighty (280) feet.
May be required to work under hazardous conditions.
Requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work outside in all types of weather conditions.
Work in small, enclosed areas, high places, dusty conditions and work independently under stressful conditions.
