Job Description

Our client is looking for a Sr. Data Quality Analyst to join their team. This individual will support the development and execution of data quality monitoring processes, dashboards, and reporting within the Global Analytics & Insights organization. This role will work closely with business data owners and domain leads to define data quality priorities, gather feedback, and address data integrity issues across key systems and processes. The Senior Analyst will assist the Director / Manager of Data Governance in maintaining data quality frameworks, standards, and reporting practices, while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to improve data reliability. The position will also help document business rules, monitor critical data attributes, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the data quality space.

Responsibilities
• Work with domain leads, business stakeholders, and business data stewards to understand, triage, and clarify Data Quality requirements/business rules and requests.
• Translate business requirements into Data Quality rules and technical validations.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) / IDMC including data profiling, scheduling profiling tasks, rule specification, scorecards, and exception handling.
• Ability to independently analyze and review Data Quality insights, profiling results, and exceptions with business stakeholders to identify gaps, validate business rules, and support remediation actions.
• Collaborate with developers on deployments, mappings, integrations, and administrative activities related to Data Quality processes.
• Ability to write SQL queries, create views, and understand source system data for profiling, analysis, and building rules
• Experience with Power BI for reporting, dashboards, and Data Quality insights visualization.
• Strong understanding of Data Quality dimensions such as completeness, validity, consistency and accuracy.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Information Management.
• Proficiency with Informatica as their data profiling tools.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and query writing.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in change management and process improvement related to data governance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake for pipeline development and data processing.
• Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Governance tools and frameworks
