Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician supporting the Medicare Part D Prior Authorization (PA) Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely access to prescription medications for Part D beneficiaries. You’ll serve as a key liaison between prescribers, insurance plans, pharmacies, and patients—managing the administrative and clinical coordination required to process PA requests in accordance with CMS guidelines and Part D formulary requirements.

This is a phone-intensive role, with a focus on handling inbound calls from providers, physicians, and Medicare Part D plan representatives. You’ll clarify PA criteria, follow up on missing documentation, and communicate coverage determinations—all while maintaining compliance with Medicare Part D regulations, including timely processing standards and documentation protocols.

You’ll work across platforms such as MedResponse, MedAccess, FileNet, RightFax, and CoverMyMeds, supporting both in-person and remote workflows. Your contributions will directly impact Part D member access to care, reduce administrative burden on providers, and help maintain pharmacy revenue integrity through accurate and compliant PA processing.

After training: Between Monday-Sunday 6:00 am-8:00 pm (8 hour shifts, need to be flex on the shift and OK working weekends)
