Job Description
Our client is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join their team. This individual will support the development and execution of data quality monitoring processes, dashboards, and reporting within the Global Analytics & Insights organization. This role will work closely with business data owners and domain leads to define data quality priorities, gather feedback, and address data integrity issues across key systems and processes. The Analyst will assist the Director / Manager of Data Governance in maintaining data quality frameworks, standards, and reporting practices, while collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to improve data reliability. The position will also help document business rules, monitor critical data attributes, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the data quality space.
Responsibilities
• Act as a business facing data quality partner, working closely with operational and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, data definitions, and quality expectations.
• Develop a strong understanding of existing enterprise reports, including logic, data sources, and downstream usage, with a focus on identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Define, document, and maintain data quality rules within existing and new reports by coordinating weekly with business stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment.
• Own the ongoing support and enhancement of production reports, including data refreshes, issue resolution, and incremental improvements to report accuracy and usability.
• Partner with technical teams to automate report refresh and data validation processes, reducing manual effort and improving consistency and timeliness of reporting.
• Support and enhance a portfolio of 30–40 existing PDI reports, ensuring data quality standards are met and reports remain reliable and actionable.
• Participate in weekly working sessions with the PDI team to review report requirements, prioritize enhancements, address data quality concerns, and track progress on updates.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including reporting owners such as Harish and the PDI team) to translate business rules into measurable data quality checks and reporting logic.
• Proactively monitor data trends and anomalies, flagging potential data quality risks and working with stakeholders to resolve root causes.
• Maintain documentation for data rules, definitions, and reporting logic to support transparency, scalability, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2-3+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Information Management.
• Proficiency with Informatica as their data profiling tools.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and query writing.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in change management and process improvement related to data governance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake for pipeline development and data processing.
• Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) or Data Governance tools and frameworks
