Job Description

Design and develop embedded electronic circuits for video-enabled products, wired and wireless devices, and low-power accessories.
Contribute to hardware development efforts while working under the guidance of senior engineers to execute defined design objectives.
Create, update, and maintain mixed-signal schematics using OrCAD, incorporating components such as processors, image sensors, memory devices, power management, and communication interfaces.
Work closely with PCB layout engineers to review, support, and optimize board layouts using Allegro or comparable PCB design tools.
Perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging using standard laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
Support the integration and validation of RF and wireless subsystems in collaboration with specialized engineering partners.
Analyze test data, document results, and clearly communicate findings, issues, and recommendations to the engineering team.
Assist with simulation, measurement, and iterative improvement of designs to meet performance, system, and regulatory requirements.
Help create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting design documentation through product development and release.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to ongoing improvements in technical processes and team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
3-5+ years of electrical engineering experience in embedded systems or hardware design
Proficient in the design process and exposure to regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, IEC)
Familiar with schematic capture
Experience contributing to the design of portable, battery-powered devices, embedded systems, or similarly complex electronics
Demonstrated experience with subsystems (sensors, batteries, etc)
