Job Description

A large healthcare enterprise is seeking a Azure Cloud AI Engineer to join their Architecture & Engineering team supporting the Medicaid organization. This role is ideal for engineers who come from a strong programming background (C#/.NET) and enjoy building, designing, and deploying scalable cloud-native solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with solution architects, cloud engineers, and senior leadership to design and build modern applications and AI-driven solutions. You will play a key role in delivering initiatives across cloud optimization, cloud-native application development, AI digitization, and enterprise modernization efforts.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on engineering role focused on writing code, building services, and implementing solutions—while also contributing to technical design discussions and helping influence platform direction.

Key Responsibilities
-Design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications using modern engineering best practices
-Develop solutions using C#, .NET, and Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, ADF, etc.)
-Partner with architects and engineering teams to translate solution designs into scalable, production-ready code
-Build and integrate AI/ML capabilities, including working with unstructured data and creating structured outputs for downstream systems
-Contribute to AI-driven workflows and agentic decision-making systems
-Support cloud migration and optimization initiatives within Azure and multi-cloud environments
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions to both engineering peers and leadership stakeholders
-Participate in architectural discussions while maintaining a strong focus on hands-on delivery and implementation
