Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Industrial Facility Engineer to join a growing team supporting the advanced manufacturing industry. The Facility Engineer oversees the reliable and efficient operation of all major plant utility systems—including electrical distribution, compressed air, water, steam, and HVAC—to ensure continuous support for battery manufacturing processes. The role includes monitoring utility performance and consumption, identifying energy‑reduction opportunities, and implementing improvements that enhance system efficiency and reduce costs. The engineer leads technical troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for utility and facility issues, coordinating maintenance activities and managing contractors for repairs, upgrades, and service agreements to prevent production interruptions. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate technical documentation, safety compliance, and work‑site organization in alignment with 5S3R standards, while ensuring all tasks are completed safely and supporting other facility‑related duties as needed. This role can pay between 78K-149K based on an evaluation of total relevant YOE and education level.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
3+ Years of facilities experience in a production or plant environment
Experience managing critical systems such as electricity, compressed air, water, steam and HVAC.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PLC Experience
Six Sigma Certification
Experience with Design of Experiments
Experience using CAD
