Job Description
An Insight Global customer is seeking to hire a Commissioning Manager for a large industrial construction project in the SE Phoenix, AZ area. This construction project is around 70-80% complete so this person will be responsible for helping the team with commissioning the project primarily with mechanical and plumbing systems. Day to day this person will help lead or take notes in morning commissioning meetings and then verify that field work has been completed properly. You can expect to split your time 50/50 with time in the field vs. time in the office. The team starts their meetings each day at 5 AM and you can expect to work 50 hours a week in this role. This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extensions and/or full-time conversion. Compensation may vary based on experience and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a construction related field
OSHA 10 Minimum (OSHA 30 preferred) certified
5+ years of project management and commissioning experience on large commercial construction projects.
Experienced with construction software tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preference if this candidate has experience with BIM and commissioning instrumentation controls.
