Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Supply Chain Management Implementation Specialist with deep expertise across non-acute and post-acute healthcare settings, including home and community-based services, long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, and other extended care functions. This role will support the successful deployment of Workday Supply Chain Management across our enterprise, ensuring that non-acute and post-acute operations are fully integrated, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong Workday SCM functional background, hands-on configuration experience, and a deep understanding of healthcare supply chain workflows outside the acute care environment. This individual will collaborate closely with business SMEs, Supply Chain leaders; IT teams including EHR and other ancillary application IT teams, and operational stakeholders. Other responsibilities include:
Workday SCM Configuration & Functional Leadership
-Support functional design, configuration, integrations, and build of Workday SCM modules specific to non-acute and post-acute supply chain operations.
-Configure non acute care supply chain processes including purchasing, inventory management, supplier management, replenishment, item management, and demand workflows.
-Align Workday configuration with operational needs of home-based services, long-term care, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and community-based programs.
Implementation & Integration Support
-Partner with IT and integration teams to design and validate integrations between Workday SCM and other systems, including EHRs and legacy supply chain platforms.
-Ensure data readiness, conversion quality, and alignment of master data across non-acute and post-acute functions.
Testing, Validation & Deployment
-Support functional testing efforts including unit, end-to-end, parallel, regression, and user acceptance testing.
-Develop test cases, validate cross-functional workflows, and ensure supply chain scenarios for non-acute and post-acute areas are represented and functioning as intended.
-Support go-live planning, deployment readiness, hypercare, and transition to operational teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Optimization
-Work closely with supply chain operations, clinical teams, nursing facility administrators, and home-health leadership to identify pain points and optimize processes.
-Translate operational requirements into system design that improves standardization, efficiency, and automation.
-Provide guidance to internal teams on Workday SCM best practices tailored for decentralized, distributed, and community-based care delivery.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
-Develop functional specifications, BRDs, configuration documentation, job aids, and training materials.
-Ensure non-acute and post-acute workflows are well documented and understood by both technical and business teams.

Required Skills & Experience
-3+ years of Workday Supply Chain implementation experience, preferably within multiple full-cycle deployments.
-Strong understanding of supply chain operations for non-acute and post-acute care sectors (e.g., SNFs, long-term care, rehab, HCBS, hospice, home health).
-Demonstrated expertise in Workday SCM modules: Procurement, Inventory, Supplier Management, Requisitions, Item Management, and related domains.
-Hands-on experience with integrations between Workday and clinical/ERP systems, including Epic.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively across operations, IT, and vendor implementation teams.
-Must be ok working 8:30-3:30pm MT.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Workday Pro Certification in Supply Chain.
-Experience with Epic Bridges, Epic Optime, or related supply chain integration points.
-Experience in large healthcare systems or multi-facility networks.
-Familiarity with Workday tenant management, security roles, and testing lifecycle.
