Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst-Contract Compliance who serves as the first line of defense in contractual compliance audits initiated by customers or third-party audit firms for customer and national account pricing contracts. This role manages the full audit engagement cycle — from initial data gathering and contractual review, through internal audit analysis and dispute preparation, to coordinating with internal and external stakeholders — with the goal of minimizing unwarranted financial claims and protecting company revenue.

Responsibilities
○ Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming contractual compliance audits.
○ Scope and fulfill data requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contractual requirements.
○ Review customer contracts to interpret applicable commercial terms, including billing procedures, payment timelines, pricing schedules, rebates, markups, labor rates, logistics charges, and other negotiated terms.
○ Apply these terms when assessing auditor claims to identify potential misinterpretations or overreach.
○ Analyze Summary of Monetary Issues (SMI) reports and other auditor findings.
○ Conduct internal audits using company data, financial analysis, and contract interpretation to validate or dispute claims.
○ Develop clear, data-backed dispute responses to challenge invalid audit findings.
○ Manage the back-and-forth with auditors, staying within approved negotiation parameters.
○ Partner with Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Legal teams to align audit defense strategies.
○ Prepare and present updates to senior leadership, flagging potential high-risk or high-dollar issues.
○ Maintain a repository of audit precedents, dispute strategies, and recurring contract interpretations.
○ Recommend process improvements to strengthen future audit outcomes and reduce exposure.
○ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance contract structures, data retrieval systems, and compliance processes based on audit learnings.
