Overview:
As a Principal Engineer I, you’ll lead complex solution design and development efforts across IT infrastructure and applications. This role blends engineering and development responsibilities, focusing on architecting intelligent AI solutions and mentoring junior engineers. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
-Architect solutions and delegate execution to junior engineers
-Design and implement AI-driven solutions using Generative and Agentic AI frameworks
-Review technical plans to ensure scalability and quality
-Build performance dashboards for key banking applications
-Create comprehensive documentation including physical/logical layouts and use case models
-Support operational procedures and enforce IT standards

Required Skills & Experience
-8+ years of IT experience
-Advanced to expert knowledge of:
Intelligent Automation (OCR/ICR, tagging, extraction, RPA, workflows)
-Generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.) and Agentic AI
-Microsoft Power Platform and Co-Pilot Studio
-Regulatory and legal compliance standards
-Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and multi-project environments
-Deep domain expertise in banking areas (Deposits, Loans, Operations, Reporting)
-Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies (CFPB, OCC, FRB)
-Strong understanding of IT capability models and governance frameworks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Prior leadership experience
-Advanced knowledge of Financial Services or Banking
-Intermediate to advanced knowledge of UiPath Cloud technologies
