Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data or related. Or relevant experience in lieu of the dgree
7 years of in-depth data engineering/architecture experience
Experience with Agile methodologies, Data Governance, and Micro-service Architecture Design and Development
In-depth expeirence building and owning data models spanning multiple services and APIs, unit and integration testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
Expertise with Azure cloud platform and available services (or equivalent AWS, GCP concepts)
Strong expertise in (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), ETL (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.), queuing, messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka), and modern source control (Git / Github)
Experience with data warehouse designs sourced by multiple contributing systems
