Job Description
Position Summary:
Our team is actively looking for 2 Senior Contracts Analyst to join one of our largest clients in Downtown Phoenix! This team is responsible for pushing along all Capital Improvement Projects for various departments specifically within the Construction, Design and Engineering capacities. This position holds many hats related to preparation of specifications, bidding processes, preparation, renewal, and monitoring of professional services contracts. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Review contract scopes of services/work for completeness
- Write contract requirements for State/Federal laws
- Review contracts for accuracy and changes pre-bid or pre-renewal
- Approve bid proposals
- Serves as liaison between a department, contractors, consultants, and users
- Researches and interprets contract provisions including explaining contract processes, penalties, and compliance terms to users
- Coordinates the renewal and extension of contracts Resolves discrepancies in contracts and prepares written documentation
- Prepares advertisements, conducts pre-proposal meetings, and facilitates evaluations of Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications
- Monitors contract expenditures and prepares written report
- Maintain and organize all contract documents and processes with the ability to present to various leaders and verticals
- Collaborate directly with consultants, engineers, project managers, and executive leadership

Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience administrating/facilitating the procurement process from start to finish
o (7 years of experience in total – 2 year degree with 5 years of professional experience or 7 years of professional experience)
- Extensive knowledge and experience being the director for all procurement duties
o Start of contract to final execution, RFI/RFP’s, presentations to stakeholders, redlining documents, contract preparation, negotiations, contract law etc.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders, leaders, and departments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Federal contract law, principles, regulations, and policies experience
- Construction Design procurement experience
