Job Description

Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to drive business value across the organization. Acts by leading and contributing to business initiatives, data governance, reporting best practices and support activities. In addition, this role will seamlessly mesh technology patterns with business acumen to help navigate data and visualization needs.



· Responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights for performance metrics to support business units across the organization.

· Improve Data Lake adoption by developing and maintaining reusable data models that align with business rules.

· Streamline processes to extract, transform and load data into the Data Lake.

· Identify and deploy techniques to improve and monitor data integrity.

· Contributes to team effort by participating in Agile Kanban teams and delivering results for assigned IT projects, enhancements, and support tasks.

· Meets the business scope and objectives of the enterprise by developing and implementing proactive monitoring of critical business services.

· Maintains technical currency by seeking, acquiring, and promptly applying new knowledge and skills, new technology, business-related information, and emerging industry practices. Maintains fundamental understanding of client business functions.

· Protects the Company by handling business sensitive information with appropriate confidentiality.

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 2 to 3 years related programming/systems analysis experience.

· Minimum 4 years related experience in functional area.

· 3+ years of experience working with and creating datasets and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.

· 3+ years of SQL skills which include ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.

· Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.

· Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

· Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.

· 3+ years of experience working with databases and ETL (extract, transform, and load) technologies; preferably with AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Python

· 3+ years' experience with report writing in AWS QuickSight or other reporting tools such as Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Agile Software development

· Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

· Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills.

· 3+ years' experience with report writing in AWS QuickSight or other reporting tools such as Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI.

· Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies a plus.

· Hospitality Industry a plus.
