Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager you'll exercise good judgment and discretion in a variety of situations and utilize strong written/verbal communication skills, excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to deliver finished projects on time and with the stated outcomes. You'll work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
• Write functional specifications, change requests, test plans, and training documentation. Design and implement solutions by creating new workflows, input forms, pipeline views, dashboards, reports, and print forms.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with team members and managers with the ability to articulate thoughts with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy depending on the audience.
• Perform QA testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT). Convert large epics or user stories into smaller, detailed user stories that developers, user experience, and quality assurance resources can digest. Troubleshoot support tickets and make recommendations on system changes and optimizations.
• Assist in managing key reports, as well as dashboards for senior management to help execute the business plan. Prioritize conflicting deliverables; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of related experience in Project Management or similar field, preferaby in banking or financial services industry.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate experience in the mortgage industry.
• Experience with JIRA administration.
• Intermediate experience with Encompass 360 or equivalent.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
• Project Management Professional preferred.
