Job Description

The Manager, Delivery Management spends their day overseeing the execution of the organization’s most complex and high impact technology initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery from ideation through deployment. They partner closely with senior business and IT leaders to prioritize work, set delivery strategy, and maintain clear, transparent visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes. Acting as the primary escalation point, they proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges, knock down organizational barriers, and challenge plans to ensure quality, speed, and value realization. The role balances strategic leadership with hands on governance, stakeholder communication, and people development—coaching delivery leaders, strengthening delivery standards, and driving continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT delivery, information services, or process technology, including 5+ years leading large, complex system implementations
• Proven success delivering enterprise scale, global initiatives across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and security
• Strong command of delivery governance, including scope, budget, timeline, quality, and value realization
• Demonstrated ability to act as the primary escalation point, removing barriers and resolving high risk delivery challenges
• Exceptional indirect influencer with the ability to lead across teams and stakeholders without direct authority
• Executive level stakeholder communication, transparency, and negotiation skills
• Experience leading and evolving delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
• Strong business and financial acumen, able to connect delivery outcomes to enterprise priorities
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing delivery management professionals
• Ability to thrive in high pressure, ambiguous, fast paced environments
• Proficiency with enterprise delivery tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, Planview)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, or related discipline)
• PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, SAFe, or equivalent certifications
• Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation, cloud migrations, or IT modernization initiatives
• Proven vendor and third-party delivery management experience
• Expert knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Advanced proficiency with enterprise delivery tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, ServiceNow, Planview)
