Job Description

This resource will be joining a team focused on a Platform Modernization. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting modern software applications, leveraging the Azure cloud platform and building scalable cloud software solutions. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understand of cloud technologies. Will be collaborating with business partners to provide recommendations for system design, technology decisions and modification, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, data and system configuration issues, break down functional specifications into technical designs, development tasks, estimates and execute to completion. Additionally, Providing technical guidance and mentoring to technical and support staff.

This person is going to be responsible for the overall design and implementation of the CHP application. They would be required to train other resources in the team. A complete understanding of overall architecture will be key and also have an understanding of working in Modern Cloud hosted application. The application is hosted on the Azure Cloud and utilizes Cloud Data Platform using Synapse and Azure Databricks. Some understanding of Data design and reporting would be nice to have.

Environment: They have moved fully off the mainframe and are now in Azure and Dynamics as well as Dataverse. The current transactional system is in Dynamics which connects to Dataverse then on to a Data Lake, Warehouse in Synapse and Data Bricks. Additionally, some of the work is in Azure Cloud Data Platform commercial space. The system they moved off of is the core of their business (Child Welfare Information System) and is responsible for supporting investigations, case management and payments. It ingests data from other agencies through SFTP file drops and pickups. They have some working APIs, but their goal would be to have all data stored in their Azure Cloud Data Platform.

Day in the Life: Since they are going from legacy product to modernization. Have a short daily standup, run a sprint, and try their best to keep people out of meetings to free up for development time.

At least 7+ Years of Experience with .NET C#, JavaScript, JSON, and SQL Server (T-SQL)
Experience creating RESTful API's
