Job Description

DAY TO DAY:

A client is looking to bring on a DevOps engineer to their existing robust team at a large financial organization. This individual will join a 15 member team focused within the CI/CD space, and will focus mainly on upgrading specific systems, tools, and assisting with the associated libraries when systems updates are made. You will be responsible for the integration of Javascript libraries, writing the integrations, creating your own pipelines, and over all maintaining a cohesive environment for the org.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

- 4+ years experience as a hands on DevOps engineer in an ON PREM environment (cloud DevOps experience NOT applicable)

- Proven experience of maintaining and upgrading internal tools and systems to increase efficiency and over all productivity

- Experience executing source lab upgrades

- Well versed within various JavaScript libraries (jQuery, React.js, D3, highcharts, etc)

- Experience integrating multiple JavaScript libraries into one cohesive environment

- Experience CREATING and maintaining pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)

- Excellent working knowledge of testing frameworks such as Serenity, Playwright, etc

- Experience with Artifactory for testing

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

- Experience within an Agile environment

- Background within banking/payments industry
