Job Description

The Hardware Validation Test Technician will be responsible for performing test plans and documenting bug tickets, including creating recordings of bug reproductions, capturing logs, and keeping test cases up to date. This role involves working with additional engineering teams and product managers to test hardware fixes and new features during project timelines. Responsibilities also include conducting validation tests for new and legacy products, utilizing automation test fixtures, setting up test procedures, and maintaining lab organization.

Required Skills & Experience

1.5+ years of any quality test environment
Familiar with Bug Cases
Proficient knowledge of electronics/computers (Computer Aptitude)
Familiarity with test cases
Ability to work through troubleshooting steps
Linux is huge plus
1+ years validation/troubleshooting experience with hardware/physical products

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Past experience with major/minor revisions
Linux Nav/File Systems
Experience writing test cases
SDLC knowledge
Six Sigma / ASQ / Other certs
