Job Description

The Hardware Validation Test Technician will execute hands-on environmental, functional, stress, and other physical test plans for body‑worn cameras and CEWs. This role includes documenting and reproducing defects, recording test results, and maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date test cases. The technician will collaborate closely with both on‑site and remote Validation Engineers and Product Managers to verify hardware fixes and evaluate new features. Work will take place in a lab environment, where responsibilities include building and maintaining automated test fixtures, configuring test equipment and environmental chambers, and ensuring overall lab organization and readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

1.5+ years’ of any quality test environment
Familiar with Bug Cases
Proficient knowledge of electronics/computers (Computer Aptitude)
Heard of test cases before
Ability to work through troubleshooting steps
1+ years validation/troubleshooting experience with hardware/physical products
