Job Description

A large financial enterprise is looking for an Application Security Architect to join their organization to help in the GCP space. The objective of this role is to ensure security for the business, partners and customers and stay ahead of emerging threats and provide solutions. You will help design and implement security architecture for GCO hosted services, defining and promotions secure coding standards and CI/CD pipelines. You will provide guidance on integrated security tools tailored for cloud environments, specifically GCP and recommending adoption. As an architect, you will serve as the SME for Application Security in governance, audits and compliance and help perform rapid Proof of Concepts (POCS).

Required Skills & Experience

-7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture.
3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services.
-Deep understanding of GCP and secure development lifecycle.
-Experience with security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
-Expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, Go, Node.js.
-Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS CWE Top 25, and threat modeling methodologies.
-Security certifications like (similar to) GDSA, GCAD, GWAT, GWEB, GPEN, GCPN GXPN
-Additional certifications like SABSA, TOGAF, GCP PCA are a plus.
