Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Gas and Chemical Construction Engineer to join a dynamic team. As a key contributor to the new industrial construction project, you will play a crucial role in handling the complex needs of gas and chemical facilities. Your expertise in construction, safety protocols, and specialized materials will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of our state-of-the-art facility.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and chemical engineers to plan and design gas and chemical facilities. This will include overseeing the construction process including excavation, foundation work, structural steel erection and equipment installation, and will be onsite at the construction site. You will be responsible for managing the handling, storage and installation of chemical-resistant materials, and safety measures to prevent chemical exposure. This is a long term permanent opportunity with benefits and annual 18% bonus.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering)

- 3-10 years of design engineering experience

- 3 years of experience in industrial construction, specifically gas and chemical facilities (power plants, oilgas etc)

- Experience with construction management software and specialized chemical construction techniques (handling, storage and installation of chemical-resistant materials)

- Experience with overall construction process from design to commissioning.

- Comfortable being onsite at the construction location (not an in office)
