Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Entry-Level Semiconductor Equipment Support Technician professional to support semiconductor operations within a cleanroom environment. This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role working directly with on-site engineers to assist with tool installations, equipment maintenance, and basic troubleshooting - not an IT help desk position.

The technician will support installation activities, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting efforts while following strict cleanroom protocols and safety procedures. This role is ideal for someone comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment who can follow detailed instructions and collaborate closely with engineers and site teams to keep projects moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist engineers on-site with tool installation activities (may include material movement and setup)
• Provide support for tool maintenance and day-to-day equipment tasks
• Support tool troubleshooting (basic triage, hands-on assistance as directed)
• Follow cleanroom/fab protocols, safety procedures, and site requirements
• Work collaboratively with engineers and site teams to keep installation work moving

Required Skills & Experience

1+ year experience in
Semiconductor industry experience Semiconductor fab OR cleanroom environment (preferred)
Hands-on mechanical/technical support, installation support, maintenance support, or similar

Comfortable with:
Working on your feet in an industrial/cleanroom setting]
Light–moderate physical work (material movement; equipment available)
Ability to follow procedures closely and communicate well on-site
