BES Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a BES Business Analyst – Contractor for Western Alliance Bank’s Business Escrow Services (BES) team. This individual will support transaction activity by analyzing capitalization tables, reviewing transaction documentation, coordinating deal setup, and serving as a key liaison between Relationship Managers, clients, and internal business partners. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, experience working with financial or legal documents, and a solid understanding of cap table management and transaction operations. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate transaction execution and delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the deal lifecycle.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar analytical role
Strong experience analyzing and maintaining capitalization (cap) tables and equity ownership structures
Experience gathering business requirements and supporting transaction-related activities
Familiarity with escrow and paying agent agreements
Experience reviewing legal and transaction documents such as shareholder consents, accredited investor questionnaires, letters of transmittal, and related forms
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, reporting, and data analysis
Experience using DocuSign, including document setup and workflow management

Previous experience within Escrow Services, Paying Agent Services, Corporate Trust, or Financial Services Operations
Experience supporting M&A transactions, tender offers, recapitalizations, or corporate actions
Knowledge of financial markets, corporate governance, and equity ownership structures
Experience supporting Relationship Managers and client-facing teams
Background in Private Equity, Venture Capital Administration, Fund Administration, or Investment Banking Operations
Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
