Job Description

Insight Global is seeking IT Technicians to support a large client. In this role, technicians will provide level 1 help desk support by responding to and resolving tickets through Zendesk, escalating issues as needed, and ensuring clear, accurate communication throughout the ticket lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing devices such as workstations, laptops, printers, phones, and handheld devices, as well as resolving networking issues related to Wi-Fi and wired connectivity. Technicians will also manage user access by creating and maintaining user IDs, email accounts, and building access credentials, while supporting device management tasks such as new equipment setup, workstation configuration, inventory tracking, and check-in/check-out processes. Additional responsibilities include assisting with application support tasks like reopening purchase orders, deleting item profiles, generating return labels and commercial invoices, and resolving order or shipping issues. This role requires close collaboration with the operations team to monitor and maintain critical warehouse technology, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Required Skills & Experience

● 1-2 year experience in an advanced troubleshooting position in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
● Travel is required, including the potential for international travel
● Keeping tickets/ JIRA Stories up-to-date
○ Update the Action Item list as you complete tasks and add or remove scope
○ When you move a ticket to Blocked, include a note explaining the change in status
○ When you close a ticket, give a summary of the work done and any relevant thoughts you have on the work and potential related issues
● Assist in UDC specific needs on any given DC systems project
● Assist with executing systems modifications and configuration
maintaining and supporting application\hardware owned by the team. This includes but not limited to MAWM (WMS), WES and WCS
