Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are building one of the most ambitious manufacturing programs in the data center industry — producing modular infrastructure at a scale and speed the industry has never seen. The Plant Manager is the senior on-site authority at our Phoenix-area manufacturing facility and owns all production outcomes: throughput, quality, workforce performance, and facility readiness. This is a plant output role, not a supervisory one. You will set the standard, drive the pace, and hold every team accountable to it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production
• Own all production KPIs: output rate, takt adherence, quality escape rate, line uptime, and on-time shipment.
• Set and enforce daily, weekly, and monthly production targets aligned to customer delivery commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement across all production lines; own root-cause analysis and corrective action on any throughput or quality deviation.
• Manage the on-site workforce interface with our staffing partner; hold operational leadership accountable to production targets and quality standards.
• Hold final product acceptance authority — nothing ships without your sign-off or explicit delegation.
Operations & Facility
• Own site readiness: tooling, fixturing, material flow, equipment, utilities, and floor layout.
• Manage on-site contractor and vendor relationships.
• Enforce OSHA compliance, NFPA 70E arc flash program, air quality permit conditions, and all site safety standards.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop the on-site manufacturing team: production managers, supervisors, quality, and facilities staff.
• Own workforce planning: headcount ramp, shift structure, skill mix, and certification tracking.
• Build a culture of production discipline — standard work, takt adherence, and clear escalation.
