Job Description

We are seeking a mid-senior level experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our aerospace client. The ideal candidate must be local and available for onsite or hybrid work support. This role requires a strong background in both linear and nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA), hand calculations, and expertise in fracture and fatigue analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform linear and nonlinear FEA to analyze structural components.
-Conduct hand calculations to validate FEA results.
Analyze fracture and fatigue in materials and structures.
-Develop thermal mapping with structures coupled analysis.
-Work with high-temperature materials; experience in this area is a plus.
-Utilize carbon composites in structural analysis and design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
-Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
-7-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
-Proficiency in linear and nonlinear FEA.
-Strong skills in hand calculations and fracture/fatigue analysis.
-Experience with thermal mapping and coupled structures.
-Knowledge of high-temperature materials and carbon composites is advantageous.
