Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Shipping Specialist to support a leading manufacturing organization. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and processing domestic and international shipments while ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. On a daily basis, the Shipping Specialist will utilize carrier platforms such as FedEx and UPS, work within customer-specific shipping portals, generate shipping labels, prepare customs and export documentation, and monitor shipment status from origin to delivery. They will collaborate closely with operations, inventory, procurement, and customer teams to resolve shipping issues, maintain accurate records within SAP and other internal systems, and ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and customer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has hands-on experience managing both domestic and international logistics operations. This role will pay $24/hr and will work a shift of 7am-3:30pm M-F.

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, materials, warehouse, or supply chain operations
Hands-on experience processing domestic and international shipments
Experience using FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar carrier shipping platforms
Experience generating shipping labels, tracking shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and resolving shipment issues
Experience working within customer shipping portals and transportation management systems
Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
