Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to join the team of a large Semiconductor firm. The primary responsibility of this individual is to ensure the smooth operation of network infrastructure. This includes hardware, software, and protocols, to support the semiconductor manufacturing process. The Engineer will also be troubleshooting hardware failures, software issues, and connectivity problems, as well as maintaining and updating network systems. In addition to enhancing network security and performance.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Install and set up licenses on the server and set up appropriate configurations for industry specific equipment
· Red Hat Enterprise Linux system support and equipment collaboration
· Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting network connectivity, including routers, switches, servers, and workstations.
· Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
· Assist with the deployment of new network technologies and provide technical support to users and other IT staff.
· Document network processes and configurations for future reference.
Work with other IT and manufacturing teams and departments to ensure seamless network operations.

- 5+ Years of experience in a network support role within a manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up equipment licenses within RedHat Linux servers
