Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated Design, Integration, and Test Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced materials, structural components, and functional systems for our next-generation products. This role involves performing detailed analysis, design, and testing of moderately complex to complex systems, ensuring alignment with performance specifications and cross-functional requirements.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical approaches, develop innovative solutions, and validate designs through rigorous testing. Key Responsibilities

Conduct analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, or functional systems using advanced engineering tools and methodologies.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and Siemens NX to develop and refine product designs.
Interpret and analyze system requirements to define engineering problems and compute design characteristics aligned with performance goals.
Generate and release design data following peer and senior engineer reviews.
Develop original design concepts and refine preliminary ideas into robust engineering solutions.
Evaluate completed designs with supervisors and cross-functional teams, implementing modifications to optimize performance and manufacturability.
Plan, develop, and coordinate test programs to validate design integrity and system functionality.
Manage test article fabrication and documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with engineering standards.
Collaborate with senior customer stakeholders on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination across departments.
Identify and define engineering tasks required for project planning and execution.
Conduct research to support ongoing and future engineering initiatives.
Represent the organization in technical discussions and project reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience.
-Proficiency in Siemens NX and strong understanding of GD&T.
-Demonstrated experience in structural or systems design, integration, and testing.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in aerospace or defense industry.
• Familiarity with structural testing and evaluation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
