Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an apprentice to join the Field Service Engineering group within a leading equipment manufacturer supporting the semiconductor industry. This individual will be learning hands on with senior engineers at their client sites, in addition to continuing education via supplemental online coursework.

This team supports installation efforts of their equipment across the nation. Although you will be based in Arizona there are times that you will need to travel up to 90% depending on the installation schedule.

We're looking for an apprentice that is seeking an opportunity to build upon their current mechanical and electrical experience and grow within the industry. This individual must have a track record of showing up to work reliably, with a desire to learn each and every day. Prior leadership experience is a plus, as the end goal is to have this individual lead tool installation efforts, partner with senior leadership, and drive team success with each project.

Upon successful completion of the program you will receive a Journey Workers Certificate, specific to the semiconductor industry.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Desire to learn both through on the job training and supplemental online coursework
- Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis (up to 90% of the time)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
- Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
- Military experience in a related MOS
