Job Description

An Insight Global customer is looking to hire two CNC programmers to support a new project they've been awarded from their customers. The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used to manufacture precision mechanical components and assemblies. This role partners closely with machinists, manufacturing, and engineering teams to translate technical drawings and CAD models into efficient machining processes while ensuring quality, repeatability, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience programming multi-axis CNC equipment in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire role that can offer between $100k and $115k salary. as well as profit sharing incentives. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, NX CAM, or similar.
Experience programming and supporting CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and mechanical specifications.
Experience selecting tooling, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to optimize cycle times and quality.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to machining processes, tool performance, and part quality.
Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on machining/programming experience.
