Job Description
An Insight Global customer is looking to hire two CNC programmers to support a new project they've been awarded from their customers. The CNC Journeyman Machinist is responsible for operating CNC milling equipment to produce precision components in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, and production schedules. This role works closely with CNC Setup Technicians and manufacturing leadership to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This is a direct hire role that can offer between $40/hr and $45/hr as well as profit sharing incentives. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment (entry-level candidates with vocational training or machine shop experience will also be considered).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
Basic understanding of GD&T and proficiency using common inspection and measuring tools.
Knowledge of machine shop practices, tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing terminology.
Experience performing basic machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality inspections.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
