Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Modeling and Simulations Engineer in the Metro Phoenix, AZ Area. Our client provides innovative solutions for national security, commercial aerospace, and space exploration. As a Sr. GNC Engineer you will be responsible for running simulations of guidance, navigation, and control systems for aerospace You will work closely with other GNC engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the simulations meet customer requirements and performance specifications. You will also have experience and knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and be able to read and modify existing code as needed.

- An Active Clearance is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years experience working within the defense industry.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of guidance, navigation, and control principles and systems.
- Experience with simulation model development and maintenance, including mathematical models and software models.
- Must be able to read, analyze and modify existing Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Must have experience with Matlab as a tool for modeling and simulation
- Experience with flight test programs and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with C++ is highly preferred.
- Experience within guidance, navigation, and controls engineering (GNC).
- Experience with Simulink, or Python.
- Experience in modeling and simulation of guidance, navigation, and control systems for aerospace applications.
- Control Systems Theory knowledge or experience
