Insight Global is seeking a Guidance Engineer in the Metro Phoenix, AZ Area. Our client provides innovative solutions for national security, commercial aerospace, and space exploration. As a Sr. Principal Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) team, you will be responsible for designing and developing guidance algorithms and software for missile guidance related projects. You will work closely with other GNC engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the guidance systems meet customer requirements and performance specifications.

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Active Clearance is required.
- At least 7-10+ years of experience in guidance engineering and development for missile guidance related projects.
- Ability to read C++ and knowledge of modeling and simulation tools such as MatLab, Simulink, Python.
- Strong knowledge of guidance principles and systems, including missile guidance algorithms, navigation, and target tracking.
- Experience with guidance system design, including software development, simulation, and testing with navigation.
- Experience with flight test programs and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in hypersonic programs.
- Experience with predictive intercept points (PIP) algorithms.
