Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join the team of a large Semiconductor Design Engineering firm. This individual will be working closely with Engineers and Design team to understand model requirements from the client. They will then be responsible for reviewing drawings, plans, families, and models within BIM applications to ensure they align with specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to take their BIM experience to the next level and develop large scale models for the semiconductor industry.

Additional responsibilities include:

Ensuring compliance with Tool Install General Requirements (TI GR), client standards, and specifications.
Verifying model-to-design compliance and alignment with client CAD standards.
Overseeing and adhering to the Design Execution Plan in line with the contractor's design and coordination process.
Managing zone creation or changes, ensuring adherence to DMZ documentation and space management plans.
Conducting BIM Track reviews and responding to issues promptly.
Reviewing and responding to project documentation and models within Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Leading clash resolution efforts, coordinating with trades, certified piping contractors, and the PIT Team as necessary.
Reporting on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to track project progress.
Additional responsibilities include facilitating coordination meetings, verifying model placements, escalating issues for resolution, and ensuring all design requirements are met before fabrication and installation.
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 for project collaboration.
Experience with BIM Track for issue tracking and coordination among project stakeholders.
Pay Range: $42-$48/hr

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience supporting industrial building design specifically with piping, electrical and mechanical.
Strong experience leveraging BIM tools including Revit, AutoCAD, or Plant 3D for 3D model development.
Experience with Navisworks Manage for coordination and clash detection.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Tool Install experience, preferably semiconductor.
Experience leading a team.
