Job Description

• Part of a dynamic team standing up the Enterprise Demand Management capability in Apptio, including end-to-end workflow, governance model, and adoption across Lines of Business
• Owns requirements discovery and translation into solution design: facilitates workshops, documents user stories/acceptance criteria, and aligns intake standards, routing logic, stage-gates, and decision rights (LOB/APSE/CTI)
• Builds and configures the Apptio demand intake and routing solution, including forms, workflow steps, validation rules, status models, approvals, notifications, and exception/escalation paths
• Implements governance controls that enforce demand quality at the point of submission (mandatory fields, data standards, completeness checks), reducing rework and increasing downstream trust in reporting
• Develops reporting and KPI insights to support operational governance and leadership visibility (volume, cycle time, aging, stage conversion, exception rates, and compliance to entry criteria)
• Partners with process owners, Finance/FinOps, Architecture, Operations, and platform teams to ensure the demand solution is aligned to enterprise policy, portfolio priorities, and execution realities
• Designs and supports data mapping and integration needs to enable traceable demand records and consistent taxonomy (products/services, hierarchies, units of measure, cost objects) where required
• Executes controlled SDLC delivery: supports backlog grooming, sprint execution, testing strategy, release management, deployment readiness, and hypercare stabilization
• Drives UAT readiness and cutover execution to meet time-fenced milestones aligned to Remedy retirement; proactively manages dependencies, defects, and environment readiness to avoid missed go-live windows
• Maintains strong documentation discipline: requirements, configuration/design decisions, test cases, runbooks, and governance playbooks to enable sustainment and audit-ready traceability
• Serves as a seasoned technical resource and individual contributor; provides hands-on build capability while influencing stakeholders to make timely decisions and adopt standard intake behaviors
• Will not have direct reports but will influence and/or direct activities across cross-functional teams to deliver governance outcomes and platform implementation success
• Continuously identifies opportunities to reduce offline/manual intake methods, standardize demand intake patterns, and improve data quality and process efficiency through automation and controls
• Incorporates multiple AI channels into standard practice to accelerate requirements synthesis, improve test coverage, enhance documentation quality, and increase consistency across deliverables
