Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Application Engineer to join their team in Chandler, AZ for a contract position to support one of the major semiconductor suppliers across the nation. This person is responsible for both internal and external facing communication regarding the metrology process and tools. This person will also be responsible for developing a low volume of recipes, quality assurance, and defect management for both the tool and wafers. In general, you will be balancing the hardware and basic applications of these tools to ensure their efficiencies and accuracies.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal with international teams)
- 3-5 years of experience with Metrology tools within the semiconductor industry
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or other engineering related field
- General savviness of computers and applications such as Microsoft Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- 2+ years experience with detection with scatter and light projects
- Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or other engineering related field
