Insight Global is looking for a Jr Operations Compliance Specialist to join a large North American power generation company. This is a 5-month contract with possibility for extensions or part time work after completion of contract.
The ideal candidate is still early in their career path and is looking to progress in the Operations and Operational Controls field.
You will sit in the Energy Management Operations centre, and will be the primary point of contact responsible for monitoring, dispatch and controls for the power generating assets (Wind, Solar, and Thermal). This position requires the successful candidate to work 5-days on site, 8 hours/day in the downtown Edmonton office.

Technical background (Engineering or Operations) with a technical degree or diploma completed or in progress (operators with power engineering, electrician, millwright, mechanical or electrical engineer).
Desire to develop their career in the operations field.
Basic understanding and experience using Microsoft Apps such as Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.
Attention to detail and strong communicator.
Experience working in Operations/Operational Controls.
