Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Dues & Log Payment Specialist to join the Finance organization at the largest timber supplier. The candidate will be responsible for monthly and quarterly dues remittance and reporting for all Canadian operations. Additional responsibilities include invoicing customers for log deliveries, collecting and applying accounts receivable, and paying provincial governments. Other tasks include:

Updating monthly and quarterly dues rates

Maintain stratum and conversion tables in Log Inventory Management System (LIMS)

Ensuring government reporting requirements are accurately set up

Processing accruals and timely submission of due payments

Monthly reconciliation of dues liability accounts

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge of full-cycle accounting (AP/AR)

Highly motivated self-starter who performs well in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing a high degree of customer service

Detail-oriented

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Knowledge of the Timberlands and/or Wood Products Industry

Knowledge of Log Inventory Management System (LIMS) and SAP
