Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a VMS Project Manager to lead a high‑visibility initiative within a Vendor Management System (VMS) environment for a large Oil and Gas client. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing enterprise‑level VMS or managed‑services projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating cross‑functional teams, aligning supply chain and procurement stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of enhancements and process improvements within the VMS ecosystem. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end‑to‑end project management for a major VMS‑related initiative, including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery.
• Partner closely with supply chain, procurement, HR, and technology teams to ensure alignment and timely progress.
• Facilitate communication across multiple departments, including environments where stakeholders may be assertive or fast‑paced.
• Manage project documentation, timelines, and reporting for leadership and steering committees.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and ensure compliance with internal processes and governance.
• Support change management activities, including training, communication, and rollout planning.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of project management experience, including ownership of enterprise‑level initiatives.

-Experience with VMS platforms (VNDLY strongly preferred) or similar workforce/contingent labor management systems.

-Background in managed service provider (MSP) or vendor‑managed projects is a strong asset.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple departments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience working with supply chain or procurement teams.

-Exposure to large, matrixed organizations undergoing operational or system transformation.

-PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
