Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Site Project Controller to join one of Canada's largest midstream oil/gas companies for a 12-month contract (w/ extensions). You will support a large expansion/construction project of a oil/gas plant in Fort Saskatchewan. Duties include coordination/communication of contractors, scheduling, cost, and procurement of the project. The candidate will be on site working 10 on, 4 off in Fort Saskachewan, AB. 10 working hours per day. The candidate must be able to walk long distances on site, climb stairs and wear steel toe boots for extended periods of time.

Required Skills & Experience

3-10 years of experience in Site Project Controls

Experience with construction/expansion projects

Recent site experience in Alberta

Experience with cost including AFEs, cost incurred process, LEMs and time and materials contracts

Experience with planning/scheduling including critical dates and milestones

Experience with coordination/communication of contractors and ad hoc construction requests

Data processing and gathering in Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous work experience within oil/gas

Professional Engineering background
