Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension) to lead a decommissioning project focused on retiring a legacy policy administration system. In addition the successful Project Manager will help support the transition of information and lines of business into Guidewire Policy Center. This role involves coordinating the migration of components from older KT tools into the new platform, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruption as the legacy system becomes unavailable. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience delivering complex IT projects within the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of policy systems and stakeholder dynamics. The PM will manage Agile delivery, build and maintain schedules, control scope, and lead communication across diverse teams and stakeholders. A strategic mindset, strong leadership, and the ability to drive execution in high-visibility environments are essential. The successful candidate will be located in Toronto or Calgary and the requirement is work in-office two days per week.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT environments
- Experience working in the insurance industry is essential
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for task and document management
- Solid experience in project scheduling and planning
- Strong command of financial reporting and tracking, including rate logs and budget reviews
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations
- Experience delivering presentations to senior-level stakeholders
